Who keeps nicking the time? Where did the last week go? Just a really, really short post this week. Thank gawd I hear you all shouting out with glee!
Do you remember this design which I did a while ago? Well, I still haven't sewn it! I think I need a big kick up the beep beep beep! :)
On monday, we, that be the wonderful George and I, decided to go for a stroll to our local hostelry. This was indeed very naughty, as we don't do this in the week usually. So off we trotted. It was a lovely evening as we ambled along, wordless, deep in thought. "OH NO!" says the incredible George, " we have to go back to the house right now!". We were almost at the pub for goodness sake, so obviously I was curious to know why, but George was laughing too much to answer me. In fact he laughed all the way home.
Are you just a tinsy winsy bit curious to know .........................................................................................................................................................
Why? ........................................................................................................................................................
.............................................................................................................................................................

Ha ha ha ha! Oh you are sooooo funny sometimes George!
Have a wonderful weekend and a smashing week too.
Lots of love to you all. Susie xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Excellent. I thought my husband was the only one who did that. At least George spotted it and actually minded - my other half wouldn't spot it and if he did he wouldn't care!
ReplyDeletewhat a crack up!!
ReplyDeleteBest laugh I've had all week ! I would have carried on - tell him it's trendy - Jess had one lime green sneaker & one purple on this week !
ReplyDeleteYou sound brighter- I left Dillon outside the co-op & walked home. I even stopped to talk to some neighbours with their dogs & they said " no Dillon today " Poor Dillon - but he was fine as he hadn't seen me come out of the shop so he was still patiently waiting for me...
" Oh no she's got talking to someone again ! "

So funny Penny! xxx
ReplyDeletehahahahaha, that really made me laugh! and I bet you found he had an exact same pair waiting back at home

(p.s. re your last post - no, I don't have a blog, I just like reading all the lovely craft ones - like yours. Glad all the supportive comments helped.)
Thank you Carol for visiting! Glad I made you laugh! xxx
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh.......I just knew you were going to say he had forgotten his pants. The shoe thing........tis just a thing. Probably no one would have noticed. Now his pants off...that's another thing entirely. Have a great weekend George. And you too Suzie Q. Love you, Mollye
ReplyDeleteOh what a pillock! My mam went to Asda once with different shoes on! Thanks for the laugh...xxx
ReplyDeleteHa...I hate to tell you this Suzie dear but this does not shock me one bit! From what you've told me about that famous George...he keeps you in stitches! The fun of having a George in your life.
ReplyDeleteOkay, I confess, I've done that same thing! One blue, one black! I've also worn maternity pants three years after giving birth...just cuz I liked the stitchery work on the bottom. One day a co-worker saw my pockets on my pants and said...Do you know you have your pants on backwards? Tra-la-la-la-dee
Sorry mustn't laugh, but it is funny - I don't suppose anyone would have noticed you were going to the hostelry weren't you.....?

Have a Wonderful Weekend!!
ReplyDeleteLove,
Marilyn
Hahahaha! Now that's a man with things on is mind! If you'd only continued on to the pub, he may have fit right in . . . around closing time, maybe!
ReplyDeleteLovely design.
Glad to hear your kookiness has rubbed off on George! Hope you have a lovely weekend. xxxxxxxx
ReplyDeleteThat made me laugh. I wonder how many people would have noticed?
ReplyDeleteIt happens to the best of us!
ReplyDeleteThis was George before beer-right? What happens once he's had a pint or two? LOL!!!
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend Suzie!!
(Both very nice shoes, by the way!)
Well that's what happens when you do naughty things!! So funny but so easy to do. I remember wearing my slippers out once. And an apron another time! At least he remembered in time but I'm sure no one in a pub would have noticed anyway.
ReplyDeletelol love it! I think he should of just kept going, he might of started a new trend :-)
ReplyDeleteWOW! YOUR GEORGE IS A TREND SETTER!
ReplyDeleteTELL HIM HE GOT ME LAUGHING OUT LOUD... A LOT!
I ONCE WENT OUT WITH MY SHOES ON THE WRONG FEET... I WONDERED WHY THEY WERE HURTING SO MUCH... UNTIL HUBBY POINT IT OUT, THAT I`VE PUT THEM WRONG.
BY THE WAY... THANKS FOR YOUR COMMENTS!
I APPRECCIATE EVERY SINGLE ONE!
HOPE THE WEATHER WILL SHINE IN WET LANCASHIRE!
LOVE,
DEBBIE MOSS
Ah Ha! a classic case of a split personality. The question is, which one did he choose? Mr Casual brown, or, Mr formal black? Thanks for the giggle! x
